I've been to week-long conferences/retreats where I've had absolutely no internet access or television. I had a phone but the only reason I used it was to find someone else on the massive campus I was on.
I spent two weeks in Europe with minor internet, no television to speak of, and I never got to call home once.
I have had withdrawals, sometimes, but the longer I spend away from technology the longer it takes me to want to even turn my computer on.
Now, if you'd like to pay me to do so, sure why not. I appreciate money. Pay for the rest of my college and a week or two traveling to visit friends, and I'd be happy to go for a month without technology. I can get around using maps just fine. XDD
