The unveiling of my secret project of awesome, part the first.

So I've managed to procure some internets on my dad's computer, slow and virusy as they may be. And as I'm behind on my personal schedule to start posting pics of my secret project, I'll attempt to do a grouping now.

The only people I know of who knew of this project were [livejournal.com profile] harbek, [livejournal.com profile] chibichimera, [livejournal.com profile] platoapproved, and probably another person or two whose username I can't think off off the top of my head, and even fewer who have seen said project, and none who have seen 100% of it. SO.

I decided to undertake an insane cross-stitching project: the Doctor Who Alphabet over at [livejournal.com profile] crafty_tardis, as a gift for a geeky friend of mine and her newborn baby. The problem I immediately saw was that the patterns were posted in 2008 and only covered A-H.

So here is my work, based on the lovely patterns by [livejournal.com profile] musicmadmk. I finished the first four in two days flat, but I was going pretty fast. 'D' slowed me down considerably and then life got in the way.

A is for Adipose

B is for Brigadier
(apologies for he has no face yet)

C is for Console

D is for Dalek

E is for Empty Child
(I haven't finished his legs)

F is for Fob Watch

G is for Gallifrey!

H is for Hand of Fear

Here's a teaser for my next post, hopefully up within the next 2-3 days.

I is for ... ?

More to come soon!

xx

Ahahaha, good guess! but no. :P

I've learned as a general rule for this size cross-stitch, people are really hard to do unless they're incredibly distinct, like the Brigadier's uniform. I'm not even sure if I can do M for Master unless I can perfect his look so you know it's him and not some guy in a suit.
