My computer cord finally died on me so I had to wait like 10 days for the replacement to be mailed to me. SO SLOW GAH. And it finally arrived this afternoon. x___x

What have I been doing in the meantime?

1. Finished my finals for first semester - and for the record, I got 2 Bs and 3 As. I'm freaking excited! My parents don't even know since I first saw my grades yesterday at like 11pm at a party.

2. Made tons and tons of things, kinda. Here's a TARDIS and lots and lots of Pokemon: Pikachu, Shuckle, Mew, Charmander, Squirtle, Clefable, Ponyta, Lugia, Articuno, and all four original Pokeballs. With plans of waaaay more on the way, it's just what I've done according to the colors I have, and when I had them. Lots of blues and reds and yellows, not so much greens or pinks. Hence lack of Bulbasaur. (Which is now a total of 71 different ones, so I could probably make Six's coat if I didn't mind the eystrain.)

3. Set up my Etsy store again. Only has three items right now, but this is my fave one and apparently the internets agrees. It's so lovely and I had fun putting it together and experimenting.

4. Dyed my hair red today. It was brown with reddish tint to it (not in that pic much) but it grew out like whoa, so now I'm more of a red/auburn!
Spent like four hours today doing it (and by that I mean my little eleven year old sister put gloves on and did the whole process herself which was about three hours worth of work - she did it last time too and it was fantastic, and this time she cut my split ends off for me and it looks nice)

5. Watched movies + caught up on House, Ringer, and much more QI. So for movies, I've seen Winter's Bone, which was brilliant and made me way more excited for Jennifer Lawrence in Hunger Games, and Gattaca which is now my #1 fave hardcore science fiction movie ever. I didn't expect to cry at the end so all of a sudden tears was whoa. And then I watched the extras on the DVD and the 'epilogue' that they cut out at the last second just took my breath away and sent chills down my spine at the end. I need a version where it's left in. Omg. Could probably write a whole post on how fantastic Gattaca was in every sense. It's from 1997 and I swear it was written for 2010, it's so, so relevant and I'd love to see it be in curriculum for genetics classes if it's not already.

6. Went to the most amazing Christmas party that a friend hosted. I was with old and new friends for 12 straight hours and made so many more inside jokes and moments that we'll never forget. Had tons of homemade foods and desserts, watched Muppets Christmas Carol, played a rather action-packed game of Spoons (it isn't fun until someone gets hurt) and lots of just wonderful socializing. Met my evil twin who is crazy awesome. She's an English major, we spoke with British accents for an hour or two. she looks very much like me down to the hair and glasses, ships the same alt!ships for Harry Potter fandom, and even recognized my cross-stitched TARDIS which surprised me. :D

7. Finally achieved my goal of getting one million NP on Neopets. Yeah, you heard me right. The games are addicting and free, and I have friends who've stayed on as long as I have (seven years now) so it's nice to reconnect. Totally used other computers to do it of course, for maybe an hour or two a day, but it's nice and relaxing and I've always wanted a million points in their game currency and now I have it. \o/

8. I also saw a very dear friend of mine in a great production of Shakespeare's Twelfth Night, and had about five other mutual friends come too. He was the most hilarious Malvolio ever and I had to keep covering my mouth because I couldn't keep a straight face. Every time I turned around to hide my laughter, at least one of my friends had tears running down her face or had their heads hidden. It was great. :D

I'm running for Mayor for District 9 (over at The Hunger Games pages on Facebook) so if you'd like to take a minute to click here, I'd so appreciate it. The trailer is out today and IT LOOKS AMAZING! :DDD

College: My math teacher today singled me out as the only person in the class to get a particular question on the exam right that he'd pointed out during review time. He accidentally left part of a different question out so everyone got points back for that question, and if anyone was able to still solve it, he gave them bonus points. He also said that nobody got a 90 or higher on their original grade - but when my points were added b/c of that question, I got a 94. :D
I also have a B+ on my last Biology exam thanks to extra credit, which is my highest/next-highest exam grade so far. Freaking hard class. >_<

Television: I'll be finishing up Battlestar Galactica next week with a friend, so I'm super excited about that. Finally catching up on last week's shows tomorrow morning since I don't work until 4pm. House, Glee, Ringer, Colbert Report...

Projects: NEW! Completed this cross-stitch (pardon the trippy light, but that's the only picture I've taken of it so far) that's been framed for now (to keep it safe) and just needs a little ironing out before I permanently mount/frame it. The second one is more ornate and is coming along surprisingly quickly. Started drawing some more designs and am thinking about making various things for sale after this one's finished.

Right now I'm in the middle of a long-awaited organizing my room - [livejournal.com profile] jpgr just sent me nearly 45 Doctor Who magazines, for which I'm much obliged - and now I'm figuring out where everything should go, hah. :)
shinydinosaur: (Default)
Because I finally have a moment to breathe, although I've been feeling sore and crappy the last three days and now I feel like I can't sit up without losing my dinner. I also use "obsess" loosely, as in many cases it's just simply some kind of intense focus, whether temporary or not.

Also because I'm distracting myself over the fact that I still have not had time to watch the last Doctor Who (or any other show placing second or below on my TV priorities list).

Sidenote: I passed my karate midterm today! Had to perform the first two katas I learned over the course of a month, and I did it despite being so nervous I was shaking afterwards.

List time!

music, television, theatre )

Funny story, my awesome college friend who loves musicals and singing/acting and is finally learning about all the great shows out there, we were talking today and I swear this is the conversation verbatim:

Him: hey, that woman on Glee with the dark hair, she looks like she'd make an amazing Elphaba.
Me: Lea Michele - I mean, Rachel Berry? Ohpleasepleaseno.
Him: No, the one that plays her mom.
Me: ...Idina Menzel?
Him: Yeah, her!
Me: ...she was the original Elphaba, so...yeah.
shinydinosaur: (Default)
...considering I missed the first two classes, I picked up relatively fast on the movements (it's like choreographed stage fighting at this level, which I'm pretty good at) and I'm really enjoying it.

BTW, Karate is replacing Freshman English cause I PASSED THE EXAM! :DDD

And I'm still fighting what the doctor classified as an upper respiratory infection - like a bad head cold where your head feels like brinks, throat burns, and you use a box of tissues a day.. I've had this since.. a day or two after the hurricane... missed work Tuesday and wound up with a fever, got that managed today and went to classes (was at school 8am-7pm, easily my longest day) but felt really bleh, and I'm working tomorrow. 9am-7pm. Pray it does not go longer than that or I may die. Still have to have some homework done for Friday's history quiz and I don't feel up to it and I don't wanna rush. :/

For anyone wondering about hurricane Irene: I'd *just* finished watching Doctor Who when the power went out - and stayed out for about 4 1/2 days. Those were interesting times. But at least I could distract myself by WTF-ing over the latest episode!

The other thing distracting me lately is http://www.thecapitol.pn/ which looks like the beginnings of an epic ARG for The Hunger Games movie, due in 2012. AAAH HOLY CRAP THE SYMBOL.
Two days ago it was nothing but fuzzy, pixely distortion, then it was a little clearer yesterday, and now it's perfect. There was some Morse code bleeping in the background but it seems to have gone, and the 'Acquiring Signal' in bottom left is usually where the Twitter login is. I'll check it tomorrow and see what's up. ARGs are SUPER SUPER FUN when done right, and I participated in the Dollhouse ARG like.. forever years ago between seasons 1 and 2, via Twitter and game-centric sites and it was an absolute blast. 'Hacking' into Rossum, trying to help this agent out.. I still hear from my fellow CTPs every so often and I look forward to one where I can be even more involved.

Ew, must medicate and sleep. Thankfully my temperature's not creeping up again.

In exactly a week from right now, I'll be at the bus stop for NYC, and leaving in a week plus two hours. <33

Random: I painted my toenails this nice shiny purple b/c it seemed like the best course of action.
shinydinosaur: (angel: puppet)
So when I woke up I was pretty sure it was Monday. :/

Also I found out if I pass English then I gotta take minimum of two more credit hours to keep my financial aid the way it is (and I like the way it is). Unfortunately, all the stuff I reaaally wanted to take (American Sign Language, ballroom dancing) was either full or during a time that I already had class. So I'm gonna take a Martial Arts class instead and just play around with my schedule to fit it. Which is less interesting than ballroom dancing but more interesting than another English class or learning how to wield metal or something.

I honestly don't even know what day it is anymore, just that I have to go to to work today, again. Uuuugh.

I do have this one worry already about college though. Basically, I don't believe in evolution, the big bang, whatever... and I've never had to take a class advocating it or teaching it as fact before. My history class might not be too terribly bad once we get past that part, although the teacher seems fairly strict when it comes to policies and such (no water bottle? seriously? D: ), but I know Biology will cover it a lot - my teacher for biology is super nice and even gave us all opportunity to write down and give her our thoughts on what might worry us about the class or what we have problems with, basically. So hopefully I can work through that as I get to it.

Also I got up through episode 9 of s3 BSG. aaah it's so fantabulous and so many moments making me all happy and warm inside. I'll do my homework and study every day (once I get my assignments) and then reward myself with an episode when I'm done. <33333

Anywho, work soon. I miss talking to all my WL family and friends on LJ. Unfortunately, no matter how slow my job is on any day, we don't have any internet. :(

well.

Went to bed at midnight but woke up at 5AM... when my alarm's set for 7. :|

My bookbag is like fifty pounds of dead weight with all my textbooks so I'm doing the unthinkable and ditching my messenger bag companion for the drawstring college bag, and just dumping my pencil case and wallet and whatever else I need in there. Haven't even tried stuffing my computer in, but I figure I've only got an hour of free time and classes all around it, so I'll just bring along my sign language book to read errr.. no room for another book, maybe I'll just go to the library or something. Yeah. They have computers there. :)

PS: I was completely my best at work yesterday, being awesome and fixing stuff for customers and getting the computers and receipts system working when one of the other girls totally didn't know how to do it. \o/

FRIDAY
8am - MTH 152
10am - HIS 101
11am - BIO 101
12am - ENG 111

I am going to hate myself later for forcing myself to take math first every day. @__@

Except I could potentially find out today if I don't need to take English. \o/ Which also means I don't have to pay for two more books and at this point I'm happier thinking about less weight on my back rather than not paying for them. Still not sure if I'll be able to carry my computer with me unless I drag along my messenger bag or ditch my two notebooks and copy info to them later on. :/
shinydinosaur: (Wash: no wheel)
my high school was like. a hallway and some trailers. I got lost. more than I care to admit. howwillisurvivecollege. D:

Taped a cheat sheet notecard to the inside of my planner to remind me when and where I have to be for all my morning classes, especially since they require me to get up super early since the first one starts at 8am. For a whole semester. I'm totally used to waking up at 8am. XD

The good thing is that I should know between Friday and like, mid-next week if I passed the CLEP exam for my English class, and if I do I won't have to take it and still get full credit. And refund which means more money for other college-y things. LIKE COFFEE. That totally counts as a college-required item >__> I have been living off cold coffee-like drinks for almost two weeks now whatdoyoumeanitdoesntworklikethat.

And.. yeah. Apart from maybe a fleeting post on how my first ever day of college went, I'm not sure I'll be online for a while...not.. like I have been lately, but shush.

My first *full* week including classes classes looks like this:
Sun: work 2-6
Mon: class 8-1 & 6-7
Tues: work 3-7
Wed: class 8-1 & 4-7
Thurs: work 9am-7pm
Fri: class 8-1
Sat: work 1-7

And... basically repeat that for next week. so fuck yes I'm going back to NY in 3 weeks I need a break too. I could seriously just copy that whole schedule and just change my Tuesday workday to 9-2 and it would be the same. Possibly for the week after that too. And I still have to study and do homework and stuff. That Tues-Wed-Thurs-Fri is going to SUCK. HARD. Especially on my sleeping, there's no way I can deviate and stay up even a little bit later or have any resemblance of a life. So please don't tempt me, I will say yes and regret it later. @___@ (But I'm rocking at work with photography and sales even though our new system is made of suck and we've changed pricing sheets TWICE in as many weeks. hell yeah.)

brb cloning myself so one of me can work and one of me can go to school. then Ceri Alpha can go finish watching Luther and BSG and actually sleep normally again. ...why is it 1:30AM already?! D:

It crashed. Totally and utterly crashed. Days after I put everything on it. Thankfully, due to a friend and Facebook and TinyPic and my Photobucket account from back like 2005, about... 98% of my photos will be successfully retrieved. The 2% remaining consists of pictures I downloaded from other places online anyway, or personal pictures that I hadn't got around to uploading. I am in the process of downloading 8,000 right now from Facebook alone. Not even kidding.

My documents - apart from chat logs which I'm hoping to eventually get back / if anyone who chats with me saves their chats too, that'd be awesome, and some school documents - the most important of which have probably been emailed at least half a dozen times - are gone as well, but they don't hurt me as badly, I think.

Right now, the most devastating loss is my video collection. I have all my audios, but my bootlegs are gone - I mean, I'm sure I can eventually restore my collection, since maybe 1/4th of it has been uploaded online, I've burned DVDs of some, and I'll be contacting people I've traded to in the past as well, but that's a LOT of video. I just updated my new trading site too, so I know exactly what I need to get back. It would be easier to mark what I actually DO still have. @_@ shinydinosaur.weebly.com

I also had all of Buffy/Angel/Dollhouse/Doctor Who/Torchwood, which may take an extremely long time to get back, but is by far one of the easier things to do. Some of the really old things may be harder to find, such as the original Taking Over The Asylum, for example (not the DVD release where they switched out all the original songs for new ones since they didn't bother to get copyrights back in the 80s for it).

All my own videos are mostly gone, sadly, but my drama class films are on various DVDs so I can always re-burn them or try and rip them off. And who knows what else is gone, but what can you do. Definitely not buying that brand of hard drive again, as it's become a 2 TB paperweight. A really expensive paperweight.

So. Probably cross-posting to all the musical trading communities that I'm on indefinite hiatus until I can rebuild my collection of videos. This sucks.

Hehehe...

I've officially started the hair-coloring process. Got my little sister to help me make sure every bit of my hair was covered in this nasty foam that smells like someone dumped a bottle of soy sauce on my hair but it's a lot redder.

In about 15 minutes I'm gonna go wash it out and finish the process. :D

In other news, my laptop's fan is dead and I'm amazed at how long I've managed to keep it working. Still under warranty, so I don't have to pay anything! Just have to wait three weeks for them to send me a new one. Sigh. Hopefully I can borrow my mom's Mac or something while they're gone next week, and can reinstall the cross stitch program to finish more of my secret project.

iPod battery's about to die, and need computer to recharge, so this may be the last thing I get to post in a good while. Ta!

It is also 1:50am now so I am surprised at how well i am being coherency stuff. Tho I wrote lots of this like maybe some hours ago and now it's been like 20 hours awake on like 5 hours sleep why am I still awake alive even

My second day of job training was excellent. (I have a badge now you guys. I'm LEGIT.)

My boss gave me instructions on how to use our huge studio camera and gave me like 10 minutes to play around with manual settings to get the feel of it, then set it to default (as far away as it goes as high up as it goes) and timed me on like four different shots, defaulting the camera each time. It's a monster to operate especially as I'm left-handed and so I can't use it like I normally would to take pictures. My time went down from like 36-42 seconds to about 14-20 by the third drill and she was ridiculously impressed with how great the pictures of her were cropped and shot.

Also progressing nicely on my cross-stitching. I estimate about 13 hours have gone into what you see here, although right now it's about 15 hours total and I've got the top of the head filled in. Pleeenty more to goe before I'm any where near done.

(this isthe bit I am writing at almost 2am how did I stay up this late like 22 hrs now i am a zombie)
In other news, Tucker & Dale vs Evil is FINALLY FREAKING FINALLY getting a release date of something like september 26 or 27 or something around then. Totally excited just hope it's in a theatre near me. been waiting like over a year and a half for it or something and it's like the best or most anticipated movie never released XD

And... I am going to bed why haven't I already I feel like I'm gonna just fall asleep right he

New job starts in 3 days! Getting paid to do things I'd love to do for free - making kids smile from behind a camera - and shiny fancy camera and backdrops and stuff. :D

Can't Stop The Serenity event in 8 days.
Four hours of Dr. Horrible and Serenity on a big movie screen along with vendors and a fanmusic band and all sorts of fun!

Tony Awards airing in 9 days! Definitely looking forward to that - I always watch the big awards shows but the Tonys are probably one of my top two faves. NPH is hosting again which is excellent because last time he was FANTASTIC (good grief does he ever take a break?) and the Company group is doing something spectacular I hear. <3

Roadtrip to see NPH & co in Company on the big screen in 13 days! Mom not only was totally up for going (despite not really knowing what she's seeing) but it'll be a really fun drive up and back - even if I'm leaving straight from work and we're getting home around midnight or so and I have work the next afternoon. :P  AND IJUSTBOUGHTMYTICKETOMG.

Fandom news: I am rockin' a lot of these [livejournal.com profile] whedonland challenges (or at least, a lot more than I normally can do). Almost done with a fanmix and 40/100 Whedon villain-themed icons for the WL Big Bang, due Monday. Aaaand this is what I do in my downtime at home you guys.

RL: Hung out with a good friend this afternoon, we watched some of Into The Woods and played/sung lots of Glee and other musical stuff in the car, got some italian ice, and went around looking at CDs in various stores. It was fun. :D

Got home and discovered I had a call from somewhere I applied to and now I'm interviewing tomorrow for a job! It's a photography place for kids/families inside a Babies R Us store, but hey. I'm good with people and great with a camera, imho. Super excited. Also found out the waitressing position I didn't get was filled by one of my friends in my graduating class. Lawl. At least it was someone awesome for the job that I lost out to.

I'm handling the breakup fairly well so far although it's still kinda hurting. Living at home still sucks and I keep being reminded of this at least a few times every day, but I'm keeping my head up and wading through the muck to get to whatever comes next. I have some good friends who keep me from going insane, and I thank them. xD

Internet isn't cutting out a whole lot nor for long amounts of time anymore, which is good. I'm rather addicted to Gardens of Time on Facebook, which is like the only game I play on there, but it's fun. It's a puzzle/find-the-item game in various levels and areas of history, and you're working with Time Agents, and you have a 'garden' that you can decorate with things to increase your points/level/etc to unlock more but it's really nifty you guys. HERE'S MINE.

Thinking about playing the LJ game with the sim hospital because it sounds like Theme Hospital which remains to this day one of my fave PC games in the world. Does anyone play any of these games? If yes, what's your opinion? If no, go do it now omg.

++ Picked up my gorgeous dress from the tailor today, 'cause I'm going to the opera tomorrow! Did like 4-5 hours of late-late-night volunteer work for an opera gala thing last month and got free tickets, which I quite happily surprised my boyfriend with. He, in turn, is taking me out to a reaaally nice fancy place for dinner beforehand, which I haven't been to since our first date almost eight months ago. :3

++ Ate something! Lawl, I mean like solid food-food. Chicken salad for dinner! I'm still getting over this obnoxious cold/sinus thing, and apart from water/tea in the last two days I haven't eaten much other than tomato soup with crackers for two different lunches and some cereal. I'm trying to keep eating regularly but it's hard when you're sick and just *not* hungry.

++ Watched the series finale of Secret Diary of a Call Girl. Yeah yeah, guilty pleasure show, but it was fun, crazy, rather silly at times and had some great season arcs and great characters. Too short! Seasons 2 and 3 were my favorites, I think. It's an addicting show, and I never thought I could even get (that) attached to a 20-minute soap-opera/drama series. Also. BEN. IL Ben SO HARD. I adored him when I started watching and apart from Callum Blue's character ('cause I've had a crush on that actor since 2004) he's my fave on this show.

++ Job hunting: not going so well so far. Gaaah. If I could do transcription for a company or something, that would be ideal. I'm a fantastically fast typist, very good with spelling/grammar, and have a good ear for words. Or even more babysitting. Just SOMETHING. :|

++ Unrelated to everything but is made of win: I want THIS shirt. So very, very badly. Saw it when it first came out and am now reminded of its existence. Only thing better would be to assemble the costume itself (I found fabric you can buy online for his pants!) which would be much more time/money consuming.

++ I made some awesome jewelry, which you can see/love/share (or buy!) RIGHT HERE at my Etsy store, along with most of my yarn-made goodness. (If you're interested in anything, let me know what you think of pricing 'cause I'm still getting used to working it out.)

I'm making more still, but this is what I've done so far:

I doubt it'll sell very quickly, which is why I'm also going to be trying to sell it at the First Friday morning thing downtown next Saturday - it's usually much easier to sell it in person than online (plus no shipping fees).
shinydinosaur: (Topher: not unlike pride)
This whole week there's been a Whedonland mafia game that just ended today. It was rather epic and I was happy to be an assassin. Fun screenshots from the last two nights of chat will show up on this post later.

Also. [livejournal.com profile] harbek and [livejournal.com profile] kasiopeia. I read The Hunger Games. The first one. OMFG. Dystopian futures are one of the things I love - reaaaally love - when done well, and holy crap, that's done so well. One of the best books I've ever read in a really really long time. To the point where I was so absorbed I could visualize it really well in my mind, and couldn't hear people calling for me about five feet away. (The last time that happened, I think, I was reading the last two Harry Potter books, and even then I was drifting in-and-out of Deathly Hallows even though I read it for a straight 5 1/2 hours.) I nearly cried at least once (was at someone's house so it would be odd to randomly cry, or I would've), and got incredibly upset a few other times. Then I found out there's gonna be a movie released March 2012. They're filming in Georgia from May-September 2011 and casting for extras as well as leads. I'm SO submitting my acting resume (what little there is of it) when I get the chance to talk to my parents so they're aware of it. The least I can do is try, and if National Guard interferes, so be it, but even as an extra in one scene I'd kill for the chance. Plus it's something cool on my resume if I do get it!

I waited at least a week to get this book from the library, as I had to get in the queue for it when it was available, and then I couldn't stop reading it the whole day I had it. Checked not only my library, but the libraries in the three closest cities to me. (even if it means I have to apply for their limited (free) library card.) They have at least 25 copies between all of them of book two. Guess how many were available? NONE. ASDFGHJKL. And I'm like third in the queue for my area. Book three, of course, there's several free. Go figure. I've been freaking out periodically for the last three days straight because it ends SO well but just teases you with a cliffhanger. I know when I have the money, I'm buying all three.

We bring you back to our scheduled LJ post (my little weekend of pure awesome):
Alpacas, silly sci-fi, and knitting pics await! )
shinydinosaur: (Wash: no wheel)
Sorry for an extra post but I didn't want the NG update to get overshadowed by this extra stuff in one post, 'cause I feel it's an accomplishment that should stand alone. Also I'm lazy and don't want to edit.

My home life is doing alright so far. I got my mom to turn my phone back on so I'm not helpless when I go out with friends or the gym or whatever. I did get the all-clear by my friends' parents to move in with them if I need to, short-term, but right now I'm okay.

Plus I'm going to be babysitting again. Not the full, five-days-a-week-six-hours-each deal. That would just be too much. I'm going to do half a week, and the asst. manager (person I babysit for) at least feels bad that I'm not working at the store at all for some really bizarre reason. There's six people on the schedule for the next two weeks (three of those are managers/keyholders) and I'm not one of them. So that'll be a whole five weeks of no work. I like my job, but I don't know what's going on and if I have to find another job I can. I've app'd for one and a friend told me about a bank that is hiring PT tellers like whoa (minimum wage but 20 hrs a week is so much better than the 8-10 I did get when I worked for two days/week). I can't get in touch with my manager, but the asst. manager doesn't think I was let go or anything. And she thinks I'm quite a good worker, too.

Got to see [livejournal.com profile] bishojo_kitsune and [livejournal.com profile] narrativeliving and my oldest best friend at a Whedonverse get-together in my community where we watched OMWF from Buffy as well as Dr. Horrible. There were these two little girls, they had to have been like six years old, sitting the row in front of me and they were ADORABLE, singing along to Dr. Horrible. I agree with [livejournal.com profile] narrativeliving that they should have their own YT channel. Awwww!

In two weeks, I'll be celebrating my six-month anniversary with my boyfriend. SIX MONTHS WHAT IS THIS. *flails*
It's so weird to think about. He has surprise ideas, but wants to know what I'd like to do... but I have no clue. All I know is, we don't have a great deal of income even combined, right now, so nothing like crazy expensive, but I live for and love the simple and fun things in life. I've never needed a ton of money (unless it's to see a Broadway show, LAWL) or something really extravagant to make me happy.
I would suggest some kind of picnic because we've done those before and enjoyed them, but it's really really COLD outside.
And I'd love to surprise him with something but I have no idea what.

My sisters' school was closed, so I have no idea as to the state of my room when I get home.
I still have to go babysit in like ten minutes, then go to work at a mall where we probably won't get a lot of people.

BUT I BRING YOU GIFTS!

However, if you're a fan of Doctor Who, specifically the Sontarans, read THIS. It's freaking hilarious!

And as I'm writing, the font choice for this FMA advertisement AND COLOR SCHEME are the same for that of Les Miserables. WHAT THE. Proof.

Okay, time to go endure the freezing cold and babysitting and work. I won't see my house (ie: bed) for another 13 hours.

BYE

-------
EDIT: We got a crapload of snow, so much so that the mall closed long before my shift started, so I got home a good three hours or so early from babysitting.
Positives: I can relax, and I had a fun family snowball fight.
Negatives: I totally missed out on earning $30 today by not working.

I watched the final Sherlock episode (for now).
It was SO. EFFING. GOOD. Episode one had me hooked from the start and I thought it would stay at the top of my favorite episode list forever... the second one was great, but episode one topped it.. and then episode three came and blew the first one away by a mile. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH. I MUST HAVE MORE. NOW. SOON. PLZKTHX.
Follow the cut.. you know you want to. )

([livejournal.com profile] gildedmuse, you demanded a "full report (of course) of the whole big damn thing", and a full report you shall have. Some mighty impressive TL;DR is here, and I expect you to read it all. XD
Don't say I didn't warn you.)

I'd love to know if anyone else went, and what they thought. (Or even if you didn't, comments are loved) You probably saw me running around snapping pics or whirling on the dance floor, if you attended.

The following is lots of my recollections rather than just a simple report on the event, so apologies if the only thing you wanted to know was textbook details. :P

LONG SHINY REPORT, HERE! )

PS: I was a terrible Bounty Hunter. I recognized all but two people but was so timid to actually go arrest people that I only caught one Outlaw. :P
